Students from the South Sefton College are working with local architects Paul Gibbs and Victoria Haines to develop design ideas for the India Buildings on Water Street, Liverpool. The building offers a vast amount of space - each floor is the same size as a football pitch!  This presents a real challenge for students when considering how it could be used in today's city. The building includes a beautiful arcade, which students are developing ideas to reinvigorate.

Students have taken part in workshops that have included a tour of the building by the building owners, meeting clients, design workshops, presentation skills sessions and model making.
